One of the most dangerous things a prominent figure can have is a routine. After studying Schofield's daily schedule for a number of weeks, I discovered there was really only one ritual in Schofield's life: every
morning Schofield would get up and don his trademark anti-flash glasses. This is his weakness. In fact, apart from when he is asleep, the only other time Schofield is without these glasses is during underwater training sessions. After purchasing an identical pair of glasses, it was easy enough to hollow out part of the frame and fill it with C-4 plastic explosives. I then designed a trigger which would set off the explosion: five seconds after a small amount of pressure is placed on both handles (when Schofield places them on his head) the bomb is detonated. Posing as a janitor, I switched the rigged glasses with the genuine pair in the changing rooms during one of the marine's underwater training sessions. If all goes to plan, which it will, Schofield will return from training, put on his glasses as usual and will literally have his head blown off. The bomb is small but will be easily destructive enough to kill Shane Schofield instantly.
